2006-03-07 [bungalowbill]: I thought we covered this. Cheesecake is cheesecake.
2006-03-08 [peacefrog]: Hear, hear.
2006-03-08 [Pirokenetic]: anyway, i have come up with the perfect plan to completely crush the entire world's global economy
2006-03-08 [peacefrog]: With cheesecake?
2006-03-08 [Pirokenetic]: step 1: start making speeches about how work is overrated and that the government is evil *naturally*
2006-03-08 [peacefrog]: Will cheesecake be provided? You know, there was a whole literary movement that did this. What was it? Existentialism
2006-03-08 [Pirokenetic]: step 2: get a group of about 6 million people, all across the u.s. to stay inside for a 48 hour period, using no electricity or heat or air conditioning, not going to work, not making any purchases of any kind.
2006-03-08 [Pirokenetic]: step 3: rely on the extremist group to cancel all loans, credit cards, and bank accounts
2006-03-08 [Pirokenetic]: the result is that over even such a short amount of time, it would cripple the economy and cause all U.S. money to become practically useless, it would be complete chaos!!! MWA HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
2006-03-09 [prairierose]: I don't *think* its existentialism
2006-03-09 [Pirokenetic]: it's perfect is what it is
2006-03-09 [peacefrog]: I don't think so either. Damn. I know modernism...
2006-03-14 [Pirokenetic]: yo what up yall?
2006-03-14 [peacefrog]: Improper sentence structure?
2006-03-14 [Pirokenetic]: i did that on purpose -_-
2006-03-14 [peacefrog]: It's supposed to be "Yo, what up, y'all?" Get it right.
2006-03-15 [Pirokenetic]: kay
2006-03-15 [prairierose]: Life is pretty fab right now, if you actually wanted to know.
2006-03-15 [peacefrog]: Curse you and your shiny lives.
2006-03-15 [prairierose]: there, there. I'm sure yours could be polished up pretty nicely.
2006-03-15 [peacefrog]: Obviously you aren't nerdy enough.
2006-03-16 [prairierose]: ouch my nerdity! What did I miss?
2006-03-16 [peacefrog]: Firefly.
2006-03-16 [prairierose]: Noo! I love Firefly! Unfortunately, shiny lives is still not ringing any bells...
2006-03-16 [peacefrog]: I refuse to believe you haven't heard them use "shiny" like one would use "great" or something.
2006-03-16 [prairierose]: ah, ok. I thought we were quoting more specifically. Damn, I need to see those shows again...they'r
2006-03-16 [peacefrog]: That they are. That they are.
2006-03-17 [Pirokenetic]: I IS GETTIN KRUNKED TONIGHT!!! woo
2006-03-18 [prairierose]: A silly St. Patrick's day activity, that. Personally, I watched Firefly.
2006-03-22 [Pirokenetic]: *sobs* i didn't end up gettin krunked
2006-03-22 [prairierose]: see, being crazy drunk vs. watching Firefly with your boyfriend....I win. I also feel no pity for you retaining control of your senses. Control freak that I am, I don't understand the appeal in losing control.
2006-03-22 [forsakenangels]: i agree with prairie... drunk isnt all that fun.. now a very strong buzz, thats fun lol but all out drunk isnt... and ive been wanting to see firefly so darn bad >.<
2006-03-23 [prairierose]: oh man, its so good. I had forgotten how good it was.
2006-03-23 [Pirokenetic]: um, quick question, what if you were alone, like i am, and depressed, i personally think that you would rather get drunk and forget about everything for a few hours rather than sit at home, like i do almost every night, and watch a movie, so based on that perspective, i win.
2006-03-23 [bungalowbill]: Um, based on that perspective, I wouldn't be claiming victory.
2006-03-23 [forsakenangels]: lol I agree with bungalow.. and not to mention, alchohol enhances whatever mood your feeling.. if your depressed and you get drunk, you get even more depressed.. not a smart thing to do lol
2006-03-24 [prairierose]: I don't mean to be ganging up on you, and I'm sorry you're depressed, but I don't think I'd ever rather get drunk.
2006-03-24 [forsakenangels]: mhmmm... BUT I will stand up for getting a good buzz... thats always fun lol almost like being drunk, but without the hangover, throwing up, or complete inability to use the frontal lobe of our very well advanced brains.
2006-03-24 [Pirokenetic]: i have magic pills that keep me from getting hangovers called Chaser, and yes it does enhance my mood, but it makes me get it all out instead of keeping it bottled up inside
2006-03-24 [forsakenangels]: hm, suppose you have a point. But I wouldnt trust myself to enhance my mood at all lol at least not while depressed. but in any event, I like to be able to hold onto basic motor skills..
2006-03-24 [Pirokenetic]: nah, i like losing control, cuz then i do things that i need to but i normally won't let myself, like beat the holy living crap out of some people
2006-03-24 [forsakenangels]: Lol I do that anyways if I find a need to... I'm a very physical person, and if you annoy me, I make sure you know it. And if you know your annoying me and you're still annoying me, then I preceed to commence the beatings lol.
2006-03-25 [Sebhar]: I used to booze it up, but now I'm more of a... well, my bass has become my drug.
2006-03-25 [forsakenangels]: Lol thats how I am now... cept it's computer or studying... yes... I study when i get bored... I study alot... I'm a nerd v.v
2006-03-25 [Sebhar]: As am I, but a very musically inclined one.
2006-03-25 [bungalowbill]: You know, I think I'm generally a very social drinker. In that I only ever drink when it's planned, and a happy occasion. I think I just sulk when I'm depressed.
2006-03-25 [forsakenangels]: same here bungalow.. drinking alone is depressing lol
2006-03-26 [Sebhar]: "They're sharing a drink they call loneliness, but it's better than drinking alone..."
2006-03-26 [forsakenangels]: mmhmm exactly.. good line, who's it by?
2006-03-26 [prairierose]: Billy Joel, "The Piano Man," no?
2006-03-26 [Sebhar]: Oh aye. It's one of the songs our band sings whenever we hear it, like "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. Except one time I was on the show choir bus, and "Piano Man" came on the radio. So as I was singing softly to myself, I noted that a very handsome young man that I'd always percieved as a jerk was also singing it softly to himself. We've had an unspoken rapport ever since.
2006-03-26 [forsakenangels]: Lol that's a cool way to meet someone ^_^ I don't have any interesting stories like that lol
2006-03-29 [Sebhar]: Well now he's in my 4th hour class and we've actually spoken, he's really cool... I wish I could develop a crush on him, but I just can't seem to. It's puzzling.
2006-03-29 [prairierose]: haha...unfortu
2006-03-29 [peacefrog]: I'm frequently misled by little things like that, but I'm glad it's working out for you.
2006-03-30 [forsakenangels]: Hmmm well crushes are annoying... well sometimes lol Like i have a crush on someone, and she crushes back <nods> so that isn't annoying, only annoying when the cruc\shed isn't crushing in return.
2006-03-30 [prairierose]: i think its really amusing that crush is a verb
2006-03-30 [bungalowbill]: Yeah. So, lyrics anyone?
2006-03-30 [peacefrog]: Perhaps it isn't too late to turn this sap-fest around, and into lyrics...
2006-03-30 [peacefrog]: But I can't think of any. So: "you're not getting young, but you're going to die, and you're going to be needing all of your time."
2006-03-30 [Pirokenetic]: lyrics....hmmm
2006-03-30 [peacefrog]: So long as there is no more sillyness. *stern look*
2006-03-31 [forsakenangels]: Lol It wasn't silly. Buuut lets see. "and like poisen it spews, from a speech writers pen. He knows he don't has to say it so it, it don't bother him"
2006-03-31 [peacefrog]: It was silly *stern look*
2006-03-31 [Citrine]: sensing some Graham Chapman undertones....
2006-03-31 [peacefrog]: I think that they are there, but buried.
2006-03-31 [prairierose]: hence the "under"
2006-03-31 [peacefrog]: sub-below-unde
2006-04-10 [peacefrog]: He died, didn't he?
2006-04-10 [prairierose]: I...don't actually know.
2006-04-11 [bungalowbill]: Graham Chapman Born: Jan 08, 1941 in Leicester, England Died: Oct 04, 1989 in Maidstone, England
2006-04-11 [prairierose]: man, that's sad. *moment of silence*
2006-04-11 [Citrine]: Anyone know what he died of? I know he had drinking problems, but i don't know if he got over it or not...
2006-04-11 [bungalowbill]: He died of pneumonia brought about by the throat cancer which had metastasised to his spine. His death was one day before the 20th anniversary of the first broadcast of Flying Circus.
2006-04-11 [peacefrog]: More sad...
2006-04-11 [Citrine]: o_O I'm wondering how you know all of that.... but it's incredibly sad. Poor Graham....:(
2006-04-11 [bungalowbill]: I'm the all powerful Lyrics Master! That and I have access to search engines. Anyway, its pretty much of a bummer.
2006-04-11 [peacefrog]: I think that being the "all powerful lyrics master" has a lot to do with search engines too.
2006-04-11 [Sebhar]: That is an amazing title to give yourself. Congrats.
2006-04-12 [peacefrog]: He's a SAD, what do you expect?
2006-04-12 [bungalowbill]: I expect you to show a little respect. Piety, even.
2006-04-12 [peacefrog]: ha ha. No.
2006-04-12 [Sebhar]: Like my father claiming he is the grand high exalted mystic ruler of the committee which runs my life.
2006-04-13 [peacefrog]: But, but...your cerebral cortex already has that title. Unless it's literal, and then it's medulla oblongata.
2006-04-17 [Sebhar]: Oh well. Or the guy at the dessert show who was in charge of mics... he called himself the "Coordinator for Technicians in Charge of Live Sound Equipment"
2006-04-17 [bungalowbill]: That's prett accurate, if a bit embellished.
2006-04-17 [Sebhar]: Embellished indeed. Anyone know of a movie called "Hedwig and the Angry Inch"?
2006-04-17 [Citrine]: not..... me...... * hee hee hee *
2006-04-18 [peacefrog]: Still have not seen it.
2006-04-18 [bungalowbill]: I love that movie!
2006-04-18 [peacefrog]: You've seen it? Is it still around?
2006-04-18 [Citrine]: Not in theatres, but I insist that you rent it-- you'll love. Have you the soundtrack, bill?
2006-04-18 [peacefrog]: I live about 100 ft from him, so I was asking if he had it still, or could get it.
2006-04-19 [Sebhar]: I was listening to it today.. my mom wanted to know what the devil a "Gnosis" was...
2006-04-19 [Citrine]: *laughs quite a bit* yes, well.... yeah, don't let her listen to Nailed, probably... or Angry Inch for that matter....
2006-04-19 [Citrine]: or Sugar Daddy... my parents hated the snatch they heard of that one
2006-04-19 [Sebhar]: Oh yeah. I'm sheilding her from quite a bit of stuff. Is there a Hedwig fan wiki, perchance?
2006-04-19 [peacefrog]: If you can't find one, you can always make one.
2006-04-20 [bungalowbill]: I don't have the soundtrack... much to my eternal dismay.
2006-04-25 [Sebhar]: I think it must be made... but I'm a procrastinator
2006-04-25 [peacefrog]: there must be one.
2006-04-25 [Citrine]: I've created and let fester far too many wikis already. You might enlist [Cardiopulmonary Atlas], though... she's the introducer of all of those awesome movies
2006-04-25 [Sebhar]: Really? She is the Fabled One?
2006-04-26 [Citrine]: oooh yes
2006-04-26 [peacefrog]: She should have a title...
2006-05-02 [Sebhar]: I'm bad with titles. I get wordy.
2006-05-02 [peacefrog]: Well, you make one, and I'll edit it.
2006-05-04 [Pirokenetic]: hey...im back
2006-05-05 [prairierose]: welcome back!
2006-05-09 [Sebhar]: Hmn... She who Introduces Awesome Movies to [Citrine], Who In Turn Introduces Them To Me?
2006-05-10 [Pirokenetic]: thanx guys
2006-05-11 [peacefrog]: How about "Great Movie Introducer?"
2006-05-11 [Sebhar]: Brilliant! Now someone has to dub her that with an official ceremony
2006-05-12 [Citrine]: Next time you visit you could try actually meeting her... then you could (I was so mad when you guys ended up coming later... it excluded Kirsten-time from the schedule!!)
2006-05-16 [Sebhar]: *sob*
2006-05-24 [prairierose]: sweet, you even had to look up some new pictures. I'm glad we don't repeat groups too much
2006-05-24 [bungalowbill]: Yeah, diversity is the spice of life, and a hassle. :-p
2006-05-24 [peacefrog]: Why couldn't anyone think of anything better to say about diversity? Honestly, that's all we get?
2006-05-26 [Sebhar]: Diversity is being, experiencing, enlightening. Diversity is overcoming obstacles, opening up. Diversity is becoming who we are. (consider yourselves lucky, for some reason I couldn't spell "becoming" the first time and barely got it right before I gave up)
2006-05-26 [bungalowbill]: Wow... I think the front page quote is deserved.
2006-06-01 [peacefrog]: And stuff like that is apparently not catchy enough for the public to use in everyday language...so we're left with damn drivel. To summerize: that was awesome.
2006-06-01 [prairierose]: erm, not that I want to dis on the Sebhar fan club, but I actually think I disagree with what you said Sebby. From my point of view, individuality is becoming who we are, which is kind of the opposite of diversity
2006-06-02 [bungalowbill]: Wait... individuality and diversity are opposites? How?
2006-06-02 [Sebhar]: They're not the same thing, no, but they're not so different as to be opposites... are they? I mean, right here, we have a diversity of opinion because we're all saying what we think...right?
2006-06-03 [peacefrog]: Diversity creates individuality.
2006-06-03 [prairierose]: ok, true, I see that. But diversity is about looking at other people, and seeing how different they are, and individuality is about looking at yourself, and being yourself no matter what you see in other people
2006-06-03 [bungalowbill]: So, essentially, it's the same, but one is in the third person?
2006-06-04 [Sebhar]: I never thought of it like that... hmn, I like it!
2006-06-04 [prairierose]: yeah, exactly.
2006-06-05 [bungalowbill]: I think that's semantics at best. It seems to me that individuality creates diversity. Now find me lyrics about it. :-)
2006-06-05 [Sebhar]: *lyrics-search
2006-06-06 [peacefrog]: Ok, now you're just taking my observation and switching it around. It's both. Both, I say! I think Within You Without You sums everything up pretty well.
2006-06-06 [bungalowbill]: I suppose. Thats fairly anti-diversity
2006-06-06 [Sebhar]: "The time will come when you we we're all one, and life flows on within you and without you..."
2006-06-07 [prairierose]: how 'bout "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope some day you'll join us, and the world will live as one." that's individuals becoming a mass
2006-06-07 [Citrine]: aah! the conformity! I have a good quote for this, but my brain is mush, so I'll get back to you.
2006-06-07 [prairierose]: huh, the beatles as conformists. That's something I never thought of before.
2006-06-07 [Sebhar]: Hmm... I never thought about how weird my beliefs are. I believe in mass consciousness, but in individuality.
2006-06-08 [peacefrog]: I was thinking about facets today as I dog sat. I decided calling the different pieces of a personality facets is misleading. I think it's a big pile of goo in which some things surface sometimes. Yeah, I was walking the dog.
2006-06-08 [prairierose]: eewww. But I agree. I mean, most people have opposing "facets" of their personality, which don't come into play at the same time (e.g. flight vs. fight)
2006-06-08 [peacefrog]: We're still talking facets, facets are pretty and all, but really nothing is so planer and easy to define. I agree that individuality comes from a greater mass consciousness (well, sort of), but I do think that it isn't pre-set - therefore, it is created by the individuals. Also, because our experiances shape us, it follows the "group evolution" thing, and now the group is the whole world.
2006-06-08 [Sebhar]: There are definitely parts of "the whole world" that I don't like... perhaps aspects is a better word than facets?
2006-06-09 [bungalowbill]: Vaguer, at any rate
2006-06-09 [prairierose]: hey, and when you're discussing philosophy, the vaguer the better!
2006-06-09 [peacefrog]: How is that vaguer? Is vaguer a word?
2006-06-09 [prairierose]: vague (vg) adj. vagu·er, vagu·est
2006-06-09 [bungalowbill]: Thank you.
2006-06-09 [Sebhar]: one would think it was...a word, that is. *listens as CD changer switches* what the devil is this?!
2006-06-09 [bungalowbill]: Gremlins.
2006-06-09 [Citrine]: Stewie.......
2006-06-10 [Sebhar]: Actually, 'twas the beginning of Santana's "Abraxas" album... needless to say, I don't listen to the beginning very often.
2006-06-10 [Citrine]: Ah.... well, sounded like Family Guy from my small time of watching it.
2006-06-10 [Sebhar]: That'd be "What the deuce", dear.
2006-06-10 [Citrine]: <_< he says 'devil' too.... if my limited experience can count as testimony
2006-06-10 [Sebhar]: Well then apparently my experience is more limited than yours, eh? ;D
2006-06-10 [Citrine]: ^__^ (hey, who knows? We've got an entire week, so we may very well have time for Family Guy-watchage)
2006-06-10 [Sebhar]: Heehee ^__^
2006-06-11 [peacefrog]: Eh. Meh.
2006-06-11 [Sebhar]: GUESS WHERE I'LL BE LATER TODAY?!
2006-06-11 [Citrine]: Ooh! I know! Pick me! Pick me!
2006-06-11 [bungalowbill]: Milwaukee.
2006-06-11 [Citrine]: Wrongo! She's coming to my house! (flaunts her hannah-ness in everyone's face)
2006-06-12 [Sebhar]: GUESS WHERE I AM RIGHT NOW?!
2006-06-12 [bungalowbill]: Connecticut!
2006-06-13 [Citrine]: still WRONG!
2006-06-13 [bungalowbill]: I'm bad at this game.
2006-06-13 [Citrine]: Guess :)
2006-06-13 [Sebhar]: My my, Bill dear... you're quite horrible! You guessed this morning!
2006-06-14 [bungalowbill]: Um.... Jabberwocky.
2006-06-14 [prairierose]: 'twas brillig and the slithy toves...(did gyre and gimbol in the wabe)
2006-06-14 [bungalowbill]: Haha! Jolly good.
2006-06-14 [Sebhar]: Ha! I told Divaricata it was "brillig"! She said there was an n...
2006-06-15 [bungalowbill]: As per... brilling?
2006-06-15 [Sebhar]: yes.
2006-06-15 [prairierose]: brillig is an actual word. Not English, I think, but an actual word that Caroll used. It means about the time in the afternoon when you start preparing dinner.
2006-06-15 [Citrine]: ha! Divaricata will go with the flow and agree! <_<
2006-06-15 [Sebhar]: *hugs*
2006-06-15 [bungalowbill]: I like dinner.
2006-06-15 [prairierose]: how do you feel about preparing dinner?
2006-06-15 [Sebhar]: Personally, I like it.
2006-06-15 [Citrine]: ... and preparing lunch-- my, but we are good at that, aren't we sebby?
2006-06-15 [Citrine]: Oh, and Rose! I'm going to be in your area this Sunday. ^_^
2006-06-15 [Sebhar]: Yay for us preparing lunch. We are truly amazing at that!
2006-06-16 [peacefrog]: I appear to have lost the grip on this conversation. Ah well. Three Cheers for Lunch!
2006-06-16 [Sebhar]: Losing grip on a conversation is much better than, say, losing grip on the rubber raft keeping you afloat in the middle of the ocean.
2006-06-16 [peacefrog]: A much worse situation. Or losing the grip on your lunch.
2006-06-16 [Sebhar]: Or your chocolate bar in the middle of a crowded park.
2006-06-16 [peacefrog]: How sad...because it will inevitably be squished. There's a minimum amount of bugs that can be in chocolate, you know.
2006-06-16 [Sebhar]: *nods knowledgably*
2006-06-16 [peacefrog]: And let's not start on hot dogs- I can deal with the gorram bugs...
2006-06-16 [prairierose]: oh man, unfortunately, Ali/Diva, I am not going to be in my area much of this Sunday. My friend and I are road trippin' it up, and I'll only make it back in time to go to rehearsal (with full orchestra!). Unless...want to sneak into rehearsal with me? Or are you busybusybusy?
2006-06-16 [Citrine]: It would be amazing if I could sneak into rehearsal with you, but I think we're leaving after lunch. darn. =/ Where are you road-trippin'?
2006-06-16 [bungalowbill]: Milwaukee.
2006-06-17 [prairierose]: Kentucky.
2006-06-17 [Sebhar]: *eyes Bill in a frightened manner* why the Milwaukee obsession?
2006-06-17 [peacefrog]: Because it is fun to say, evidently.
2006-06-17 [bungalowbill]: Seriously, say it, slowly, and enunciate. It's quite a funny little place name. Like Ibapah, UT.
2006-06-18 [Sebhar]: I like the word "muffin", personally.
2006-06-18 [bungalowbill]: Hehe, or "Luffins"
2006-06-19 [Sebhar]: Oddly, the song "Bungalow Bill" gets stuck in my head whenever I see your screen name... and then I go wand'ring about town shouting about some random man going hunting...
